Job Title: Cloud Platform Engineer

The Mission

We are building a world-class digital foundation. As a Cloud Platform Engineer, your mission is to design, automate, and govern our multi-cloud/hybrid environment. You won't just be "using" the cloud; you will be building the self-service platforms and automated guardrails that enable our entire engineering organization to move faster and more securely.

What You’ll Focus On (Key Responsibilities)

• Platform Architecture: Design and implement highly scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure on [Insert Platform: AWS/Azure/GCP].
• Automation & Orchestration: Build "Self-Service" infrastructure using Terraform, Pulumi, or Ansible to empower development teams.
• Kubernetes & Containers: Lead the management and scaling of our container orchestration platforms (EKS/AKS/GKE).
• Cloud Governance & FinOps: Implement automated policies for cost-tracking, resource tagging, and security compliance to ensure efficient cloud utilization.
• Reliability Engineering: Enhance system observability with advanced logging and monitoring (Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana) to achieve 99.9% uptime.

The Skills We Look For (Qualifications)

• Platform Mastery: Deep, hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (Certifications like AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Administrator are a plus).
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Expert-level knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Networking & Security: Solid understanding of Cloud Networking (VPC, SD-WAN, Load Balancing) and Identity Management (IAM).
• DevOps Mindset: Experience building CI/CD pipelines and integrating security into the deployment lifecycle (DevSecOps).
• Scripting: Proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash for platform automation.
